The Palmer Fire School is a 5,000 square foot former fire fighter training facility built in the late 1930's. Renovated to restore it to its natural form, the fire school is now home to the Charlotte Fire Fighter's Association. The ground floor features a main hall for association meetings and is also rented to the public for various events throughout the year. And expanded light well provides intimate outside gathering space, as well as much needed light for employees in the 1,200 square feet of lower offices.
